We, an Italian architect and a Dutch cultural strategist at Strelka Institute, are developing a project about the MKAD, the 109 km Ring Road around Moscow. The project investigates the culture on and around this road. The project aims to reveal that the MKAD, initially built to make the city better accessible, has actually become a (cultural) destination in itself. With many large shopping malls and other car-related services, the MKAD has become a shopping street for cars.
We are looking for a photographer, filmmaker or other creatives who want to join us for one or more day trips to document the road and all things happening around it. It would be great if you have a car to drive around the MKAD.
Time: first weeks of April 2014
Please mail to email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested.
All the best,
Giulio and Roel
